About Me

I am a ceramicist based in Shorewood, WI, who first learned ceramics back in New York City in 2014.

Most pieces are porcelain, but I also work with stoneware clay bodies. The majority of pieces are wheel thrown but I enjoy using hand-building techniques to explore new ways to create forms using both processes. All of my pieces that utilize drawn or painted elements are original and handmade drawings.

I’ve always been drawn to bold colors and forms, but love the whimsy and spirit of botanicals and materials from our environment. I often take much inspiration from textiles and fabrics, as well as the natural beauty of Wisconsin wildlife, often incorporating these materials and imagery into my drawings and designs.

I am part of a collaborative studio space called Art on Clay in Whitefish Bay, WI. Check out our studio space, and come to visit myself and other makers.
